Kaffe Crème

Kaffe Crème is the long-running alias of Victor Dijoud, a DJ, producer and co-founder of Floors Records. Rooted in the overlap between deep house, jazz-funk, disco obscurities and the tactile culture of vinyl digging, his work has gradually moved away from functional club music towards something looser, warmer and more ensemble-driven. That shift also runs through his involvement with Gin Tonic Orchestra, the French collective blending live instrumentation with dancefloor dynamics.

Whether behind the decks or in the studio, he approaches music as a continuum rather than a set of scenes or genres. His recent productions balance dusty groove science, dubbed-out textures and melodic fragments that recall the emotional openness of late-night house without slipping into revivalism.
